When it comes to profiles, processing is often carried out in the plastic materials PEHD500, PEHD1000 and PEHD2000. This is because PEHD (High-Density Polyethylene) offers high wear resistance and low friction, while also being thermally and electrically insulating as well as noise-reducing.
In addition, it is a good choice due to its high strength, low friction and excellent wear resistance. Another advantageous option is PA (nylon), which is also widely used thanks to its high impact strength, hardness and wear resistance. However, it is sensitive to moisture.
All three materials are also food-grade plastics (FCM), making them a popular choice for products such as plastic profiles.
At Induflex, we can also manufacture plastic profiles in other plastic materials - all depending on the required quantity, colour or length.
