Increasing activity requires enhanced capacity

Last year, we experienced growth in activity, and that trend continues. This is particularly evident in our milling department, where capacity is fully utilised. Therefore, we are now investing in a new 5-axis milling machine as well as a new cutting plotter.

"With our growing focus on the industrial sector comes more complex and larger tasks. We are seeing increased pressure on our milling department, which is why investing in another large, 5-axis CNC milling machine is a natural development. This ensures that we can meet customers' design specifications and their need for flexibility and efficiency," explains Managing Director and owner, Rico Larsen.

The new CNC milling machine optimises the processing of complex plastic components and reduces setup times, while improving accuracy. This means we can serve companies in the food, medical and machinery industries even better.

New materials, new opportunities

In addition to the new milling machine, we are also investing in a specially designed cutting plotter. The reason behind this is a successful collaboration with a customer on processing carbon fibre, which has led to several large orders.

"Carbon fibre has some unique properties but requires special handling. Until now, we have processed it on our laser cutters, but with the growing demand, we have decided to invest in a custom-built cutting plotter that can cut high-tech materials such as carbon fibre," explains Rico Larsen.

Future-proofing through technology

At Induflex, part of our strategy is to invest in the latest technology to maintain a state-of-the-art machinery fleet.

"Technology evolves rapidly, and we have seen that since our start in 1989. That's why it's important for us to always stay one step ahead and invest in the right solutions. This way, we can remain a flexible and value-creating partner for our customers," concludes Rico Larsen.
