Plastic components for water treatment plants

For ULTRAAQUA's water disinfection systems, Induflex supplies several plastic parts, including plugs, gaskets, cleaning rings, and a processed component for the internal threads of the filtration solutions.

The plugs secure the quartz glass through which the UV light - used to disinfect the water - passes, while the cleaning rings ensure the UV tubes remain clean.

The parts are manufactured using CNC turning in plastics such as PTFE, PVDF and POM.

These plastics are ideal for the purpose as they do not absorb water, are hygienic and withstand intensive cleaning.

Plug with integrated locking function

Together with ULTRAAQUA, Induflex has also designed a special lamp plug featuring an integrated locking mechanism.

This function means that two machine parts, which would otherwise need to be assembled mechanically using tools, can now be easily clicked together – and apart again – with a single press on the gasket.

Thanks to the locking feature, replacing the UV lamps in ULTRAAQUA’s systems is quicker and easier – time after time.

Permanent marking with laser engraving

ULTRAAQUA’s systems are optimised to make assembly, use, and maintenance as easy as possible.

The plastic components for the systems are designed so they can be removed without the need for tools.

On some of the parts, Induflex engraves markings and assembly instructions. The engraving provides a permanent marking on the plastic components and appears clearly as a white marking on the black POM. It does not affect the FKM approval of the material, and even with the engraving, the plastic parts remain hygienic and easy to clean.
