The tests are performed and documented by our raw material supplier - in their lab.

Let's say you find a piece of plastic in your food. The piece of plastic could for instance be from an ejector arm on a conveyor belt in the slaughterhouse.
It is now important that you can trace the piece of plastic back to the machine that manufactured that exact piece of plastic and determine when it was manufactured.

As of January 2016 ALL declarations of conformity for plastics - specifically for contact with food - must be in accordance with the EU Directive EU10/2011, Appendix IV, and based on documentation acc. to EU10/2011, article 18.
All relevant documentation reg. the EU Directive EU10/2011 is available in our plastic assortment (POM-C, POM-H, PEEK, PC, PET, PE300, PE500, PE1000, PTFE), in order to assure information about usage, capacity, as well as full traceablity of the material.
